Worming Your Pet

Puppies & Adult Dogs

• Puppies should be wormed every four weeks from 2 weeks of age up until 6 months of age
• We recommend and use Milbemax, a broad spectrum wormer that kills both roundworms and tapeworms
• If using other products then puppies should be wormed every 2 weeks until 12 weeks of age, and then every month until 6 months of age.

• Adult dogs (over 6 months of age) should be wormed every 3 months.
• We recommend and use Milbemax, a broad spectrum wormer effective against both roundworms and tapeworms.

Kittens & Adult Cats

• Kittens should be wormed every month from 6 weeks of age until 6 months of age
• We recommend and use Milbemax,, a broad spectrum wormer effective against both roundworms and tapeworms.
• If using other products, kittens should be wormed every 2 weeks until 12 weeks of age, then every month until 6 months of age.

• Adult cats (over 6 months of age) should be wormed every 3 months
• We recommend Milbemax, a broad spectrum wormer effective against both roundworms and tapeworms.
• If giving tablets is tricky with your cat, we recommend Profender, a ‘spot on’ wormer effective against both round and tapeworms.
