Geraint Davies

Vet / GPcert in Small Animal Surgery / GPcert Ophthalmology

Geraint graduated from Glasgow Veterinary School in 2003. After spending three years as a farm vet in Snowdonia he joined the Shires team to concentrate on small animal work in 2006. Geraint spends most of his time at the Eaton Park practice and has a keen interest in all aspects of surgery, completing the General Practitioner Certificate in Small Animal Surgery in 2012 and the General Practitioner Certificate in Ophthalmology in 2018. Recently this interest has led Geraint to become competent in minimally invasive (keyhole) surgery, helping animals to recover more quickly from their operations. In his spare time he loves getting into the great outdoors for a range of sports with his wife Kate and their two sons. Geraint and his family live on a small holding in the Staffordshire Moorlands, where they tend to a collection of sheep, pigs, poultry and bees.
