Geraint graduated from Glasgow Veterinary School in 2003. After spending three years as a farm vet in Snowdonia he joined the Shires team to concentrate on small animal work in 2006. Geraint spends most of his time at the Eaton Park practice and has a keen interest in all aspects of surgery, completing the General Practitioner Certificate in Small Animal Surgery in 2012. Most recently this interest has led Geraint to become competent in minimally invasive (keyhole) surgery, helping animals to recover more quickly from their operations. In his spare time he loves getting into the great outdoors for a range of sports with his wife Kate and their two young sons. The perpetual student, Geraint is also now studying for his GP Certificate in Ophthalmology.
