From Monday 10th December we will be undergoing some major improvements to our Eccleshall surgery. While this will unfortunately lead to a few weeks of disruption the end result will be a new, modern practice with a dedicated large animal section (and a new entrance for you all to get used to) along with widespread improvements to the small animal services we can offer on site.
During the building works we will continue to operate as normal from temporary accommodation on site. The only adjustment we would ask is that if you plan to place a big drug order we will need 24 hours’ notice as we will be working from a much smaller dispensary than usual and will therefore be holding a little less stock.
We are confident that the renovation works will enable us to expand the services we can offer to all of our clients, large and small animal alike, and to continue to offer a high quality of service to you all. We expect the works to be finished by February 2019, and we hope the inconvenience to yourselves is minimal.
Alongside these structural changes to the Eccleshall surgery, we will be introducing a new computer system, EZVet, in mid-February. While this should have no effect on our day-to-day work (except we will all need to learn how to use it), you will notice that the layout of your invoices and delivery notes will change.
We hope that the new billing process and invoices are much easier to understand than our current system! If you have any issues with these please do give us a ring and we will endeavour to help you out.
Please rest assured that the changes will not be as drastic as they may sound, and that there will still be the same familiar faces in the office and out on your farms – you’re not getting rid of us that easily.
