Sarah Barnes

Health & Safety Manager / Registered Veterinary Nurse

Sarah has been with us at Shires since she qualified in 2006 and is aSenior Nurse at the Stone surgery. Sarah enjoys all aspects of medical and surgical nursing and has completed additional training in diabetes management and rabbit nursing care and is particularly keen to promote rabbit welfare. Sarah enjoys carrying out nurse clinics and her particular area of interest is the training of student nurses as she is a qualified clinical coach. Outside work Sarah has a two young daughters, a very energetic Boxer X and riding and caring for her horse to keep her busy.
